Rowan Cross

Each cross is built from rowan branches and ringed with hand-strung rowan berries, threaded on jewelry wire for strength and tied at every crossing with strips of red cloth. The red binds the protection in and keeps it working.Please note that BOTH crosses have rowan branches that are 12 inches long, the size difference is the berry ring. One is 7 inches diameter, the other is 4 1/2 inches diameter.

Hang it:

• Over your front or back door

• Above a window or bedroom door

• In a barn, shed, or outbuilding

• Near a child's room or over the hearth

• Anywhere you want to say "nothing ill crosses here"

  
  

  These crosses are especially fitting for Samhain, when the veil is thin and the threshold needs a good guardian.

Each piece is handmade, so berry color and branch shape will vary a little. Natural materials may darken with age, which is part of their charm.
